Since 1997, we've been gathering data from all over the world. The current database of approximately half a million entries is a compilation of demographic information based on nationality, gender, and age with respect to color associations and color preferences. Demographic data is available for a fee based on the data you request.
Requests for data can be based on either of the following:
1. A specific color
Searches can be based on any single color, such as "red." For example, if you need data on how females in the United States perceive "red", we can provide the answers. (To date, we have input from over 15,000 American women.)
2. Symbolic term (based on demographic criteria) Searches can be based on color symbolism, such as "powerful." For example, if you want to know which colors are associated with "powerful" by males in North America, we search the database and provide you with the answers. (Note: Other demographic information can be added to the search parameters- for example, a more specific search may be done for all the colors that Canadian males, ages 25-34, associate with "powerful.")
